
Penny Reyes, MEM, BAT, Outreach BAT, CBP
Director of Outreach Development
Penny completed her Masters in Environmental Management degree (MEM) with a specialization on water quality monitoring and ecological solid waste management. Her exposure to regenerative approaches inspired her further to strive towards a more holistic lifestyle. She later trained in Ecovillage Design Education, organic agriculture, and Permaculture Design.
Penny was introduced to Energy Medicine through a basic training of BodyTalk in 2014. She continued her studies in the BodyTalk healthcare system abroad and became a Certified BodyTalk Practitioner (CBP) – opening a clinic in Tavira, Algarve Portugal. After returning to the Philippines in 2018, she became a Licensed BodyTalk Access Trainer (BAT) & Outreacher and started a clinic at Dauin, Negros Oriental, Philippines.
She is the founder of Kalipay Wellness Center for Energy Medicine – a facility that was designed from the ground up using cornerstones from the disciplines of Permaculture, BodyTalk Consciousness and Energy-Based healthcare, Decentralized Medicine , Circadian Living and Agnihotra. These energy-based foundational elements all contribute towards a harmonious environment for living and learning. “Kalipay” is a word in the Filipino Visayan dialect that means happiness.
Penny is the International BodyTalk Foundation Director of Outreach Development. She has re-built and expanded from the foundational work of Dorothy Friesen, the BodyTalk Access outreach training program. As an Outreach sponsor, she is currently mentoring the first batch of trainees representing five different countries in order for them to be officially recognized IBF Access Outreachers. Parallel to this, Penny is currently implementing a multi-year BodyTalk Outreach project and clinic at Dauin, Philippines called “Clinica Para sa Tanan” (everybody’s Clinic) that caters to the underserved members of the community.
